As this year came to a close, I had the privilege of wrapping up the holiday season with one of my favorite newborn sessions. I was welcomed into their home on a cold December morning, and it couldn’t have felt cozier inside. Their spaces were filled with warmth-- it was clear how much love their little one had already brought into their lives.
Inside, I was immediately drawn to the calm blues of the nursery walls, the beautiful natural light streaming in, and the baby’s clear blue eyes. We spent the better half of an hour celebrating the little one and taking in all the details of this special phase of life. Truly, I’ve loved every image from this session.
As I reflect on the past year, it warms my heart that I get to meet such kind and caring families and share a bit of my own perspective with them. As the new year begins, I’m feeling especially thankful--and so excited--to keep practicing what I love.
